Festivals of Om Azad Muni

These observances are conducted every year as per the instructions of Om Azad Muni. Devotees gather in silence, devotion, and reflection. These occasions are centered not on celebration, but on understanding the deeper truth pointed by the Guru. They include Guru Puja, Satsang through the night with devotional bhajans, Maha Arathi, and Bhandara.

1. Guru Purnima

Guru Purnima is observed at the Azad Muni Ashram, Ratlam, as a day of offering and remembrance. Devotees gather not for outward festivity, but to bow in gratitude to the Guru, whose presence reveals the Self. In silence and humility, the disciple turns within, where the Guru truly resides.

2. Nirvana Thithi

Nirvana Thithi marks the remembrance of the Guru’s departure from the physical form. Devotees gather in humility and silence, reflecting on the teachings and the presence that continues beyond form.

Om Azad Muni’s Nirvana Thithi is observed at the Azad Muni Ashram, Rajmohalla, Indore.

Kupatravadi Baba’s (a disciple of Om Azad Muni) Nirvana Thithi is observed at Moni Baba Ashram, Narval, Indore.

3. Shivaratri

Shivaratri is observed at Azad Muni Ashram, Gulawat, Madhya Pradesh – 45311. Devotees gathere to worship Adi Nath Lord Shiva along with Guru.

4. Sharad Pournami

Sharad Pournami is observed at the Om Azad Muni Kutia, Shivgarh, Madhya Pradesh – 457556. On this occasion, kheer is specially prepared as an offering.

5. Hanuman Jayanthi

Hanuman Jayanthi is observed at the Om Azad Muni Baba Ashram, Shri Siddhapeeth Hanuman Mandir, Digwad, Raisen district, Madhya Pradesh – 466448. Devotees gather in devotion and remembrance, offering prayers and reflecting inward in the presence of the Guru.
